Day Consultant Engineers chosen for conducting Air Traffic Flow Management in Iranian airspace.

 

 

Day Consultant Engineers has been chosen by the Iranian ministry    of road and transportation and Iranian Airports Company, as    consultant of conducting air traffic flow management within Iranian    airspace.

 

Air traffic flow management is currently applied in many regions to reduce the delays induced by air traffic congestion. Air traffic induced congestion increases the operational cost for airlines due t increase in fuel consumption and reducing efficiency and on the other hand dramatically increments work load for air traffic service providers. ATFM system rearranges flight schedules and alleviates the demand during peak hours.

 

In this project, Day Consultant Engineers will study the current trend in this regard and determines the ATFM strategy to be implemented in Iran considering the integration with regional similar systems in Europe and Asia Pacific. Then the conceptual system will be designed and planed as well as the air transport infrastructure capacity being estimated. The required softwares and hardwares will be procured and the transition plan for the full scale implementation will be developed. The whole project is estimated to last for 18 months.
